My Bloody Valentine Loveless

Loveless is the second studio album by Irish band My Bloody Valentine, released in 1991. It has a 90's psychedelic sound created by deep distorted guitar sounds with lots of feedback and drifting melodic vocals. The unclear guitar photo that seems to represent the sound image and the typeface used as the band's logo is by ITC kabel, and the rounded pop font with an image of the early 70s creates an impression somewhere between psychedelic and pop, which is very 90s. The font used for the poster of Sofia Coppola's Lost In Translation, in which one of the band members participated as a musician, is also from the same family, Kable.

Typeface

Designed by Rudolf Koch and released in 1927 by the Klingspor foundry in Germany, Kabel is named in honor of the laying of the first trans-Atlantic telephone cable. In 1975, under special license from D. Stempel AG, the International Typeface Corporation redrew the family and added a fifth weight. Geometric proportions are combined with humanistic features in this unusual sans serif typeface.
